If converting DVA files, it is HIGHLY recommended you
do the conversion on the machine where the DVA files currently
reside. This is because the DVAs store pointer information
to their respective DPS files, and if you move the DVA files,
it may break that link.
- The conversion will compress the newly created LTV file
at the same data rate as the original DPS file.
- Audio will also be converted at the same Sample Rate.
Altitude requires 48KHz audio, so if your DVA files were
44KHz or lower, they will need to be upsampled to 48KHz
before the conversion takes place.
Known Issue: Currently, only DVA/DPS to LTA/LTV conversion
is supported. LTA/LTV to DVA/DPS conversion is planned for
a future release.
Setting up the program. Unzip the MediaConverter.zip file
to a local directory. You will see three files: FileConverter.exe,
LtvMedia.dll, and the readme file. To launch, double-click
FileConverter.exe.
